Early Head Start director reports full enrollment, cleared waiting list; board approves CACFP meal agreement

The board approved a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meal agreement that will allow the district’s nutrition services to provide meals to Head Start children through that federal program; board members moved and seconded the motion and approved it by show of hands.
The director said staff had filled vacant home-based slots after outreach and that health checks and shot records for August placements were being updated in the system.
