District updates: high school auditorium, roof reimbursement deadline and broadband progress

The district has started RFP preparations for the roof work.
Life Center and athletic fields: Staff said drawings for the Life Center renovation/demolition are being finalized and the project is expected to run roughly 14 months once started; a January (year unspecified in the presentation) start was projected. Athletic-field expansion planning at the middle school is underway so middle-school athletics can remain on that campus.
Broadband update: A broadband partner reported project progress through July, stating the fiber build was about 72% complete with about 110 of an originally planned 152 cable miles installed; the project was on the planned timeline, staff said.
