Council authorizes hiring a parks laborer and orders new grills for parks

During the Parks and Recreation Committee report, a resident and council members raised a separate maintenance concern about rusted grills in a city park. A parks staff member told the committee, "We're ordering new ones," and council members discussed temporary measures such as placing plates over damaged areas until replacements arrive.
