Glens Falls Water and Sewer board tables two billing issues, approves warrant to pay bills

At the Sept. 15 meeting, the City of Glens Falls Water and Sewer board voted to table two billing issues — accounts for 41 Thomas Street and 30 Fulton Street — until the board’s next regular meeting in two weeks because the clerk could not attend the special meeting. The presiding official said the special meeting was converted to a regular meeting only so the board could approve the warrant to pay bills after last week’s network and Munis outage delayed payments. "We want to be able to pay our bills, and we couldn't last week because our computers were down," the presiding official said. The board moved to table the two billing items, a motion was seconded and carried with no recorded opposition. Later the board moved to approve the warrant included in meeting packets; a second was recorded and the motion carried. The presiding official thanked staff for assembling the warrant once systems were restored. No additional public participation occurred during the meeting; the board opened the meeting to public participation at the start and recorded no in-room public speakers.
