Lisle staff report shows sales-tax gains and increased transfers to stormwater, capital funds

The Village of Lisle’s finance staff presented the first-quarter fiscal report Sept. 15 showing year-to-date general fund revenues of $5,881,389 through July 31, equal to 25.5% of the budgeted $23.1 million and roughly $248,000 higher than the prior year. Chief Financial Officer Mitchell said sales tax receipts were approximately $198,000 higher than the same period last year and about $616,000 above the budgeted estimate.
