Decatur County staff told commissioners on Sept. 15 that the county has begun a qualifications solicitation for a proposed county pool project. The Request for Qualifications (RFPQ) was first advertised Sept. 11 and will be advertised again Sept. 18; all statements of interest and qualifications are due Sept. 25.
A committee will review the submitted materials and proceed to the next procurement phase, staff said. County staff said they placed the full solicitation text in the newspaper to reduce follow-up inquiries and ensure prospective proposers have the required information up front.
No committee selections or contract awards were made Sept. 15; staff said the review of qualifications will begin after the Sept. 25 deadline.
