Gaithersburg council appoints three residents to city advisory committees

The council approved the appointment of Paul Hoffer of Diamond Farms to a two‑year term on the Community Advisory Committee; Daniel Humphrey of Spectrum at Watkins Mill to a two‑year term on the Police Advisory Committee; and Angela Davis of Long Draft Estates to a two‑year term on the Senior Advisory Committee. A council member moved the appointments and the motion carried 5‑0. The council noted that none of the appointees were present at the meeting. Council members encouraged residents to consider serving on committees and noted that the city’s website lists openings and application information.
