Council concurs with committee to authorize $431,665 contract for Renton comprehensive safety action plan

The Renton City Council on Sept. 16 concurred with the Transportation/Aviation Committee’s recommendation to authorize a professional services agreement with Parametrics Incorporated in the amount of $431,665 to complete a comprehensive safety action plan for the city.

The committee report asked the council to authorize the mayor and city clerk to execute the agreement. Councilwoman McGurvey moved to concur with the committee report; Council member Perez seconded the motion. The council voted in favor and the motion carried.

The contract amount cited in the committee report is $431,665. The committee report contained no amendments or additional conditions recorded during the meeting; the city will proceed with executing the professional services agreement as recommended.
