Kevin Quinn, the county's Division Director for Open Space, presented the financial statement for August at the County Open Space Board meeting on Sept. 16.

Mr. Quinn reported a beginning balance of $39,598,024.76 for Aug. 1, 2025; revenue of $2,743,068.31 (interest and county purpose tax); disbursements of $1,775,593.75; and a month-end balance of $40,565,499.35. He said Schedule A encumbrances totaled $14,394,278.36, leaving a fund balance of $26,171,220.99. Mr. Quinn listed pending projects seeking approval, including FP Sayre, FP Patterson and MP Cecil Creek.

Mr. Hanson, the Planning Director, and Mr. Quinn said staff are auditing project sites for maintenance and reviewing the encumbrance list; Mr. Lomax asked for a column showing projects that have been extended and the extension dates. The board discussed closing out open invoices where appropriate.

The financial figures were presented as the board considered two applications later on the agenda. No action was taken on the financial statement itself; the report was received for board review.
