The Williams County commissioners authorized staff to advertise for bids on road equipment for the 2026 budget, including eight graders and one plow truck. A motion to permit advertising passed by roll-call vote.

County road staff updated the board that paving is complete on sections of County Road 11 and related segments, and that cleanup and follow-up work are underway. Staff reported high contractor activity and that weather and moisture had affected cleanup timing.

The board's vote authorized the county highway department to begin the public-bid process; final purchase approvals will follow county procurement procedures and budget availability.
