Sumner County Education Committee approves agenda, minutes and grouped consent items

The Sumner County Education Committee on Monday, Sept. 15, approved its meeting agenda, accepted minutes from Aug. 4 and voted to group and approve a set of consent items, including four amendments and an item concerning work at Cannon, Coppiger, Lee and Simulink elementary schools. The committee met at 6:30 p.m. and heard no members of the public during the recognition-of-public portion.

Committee chair opened the session and asked for approval of the agenda; Commissioner Reams moved the motion and Commissioner Lambert seconded. The committee then approved the Aug. 4 minutes.
