Commission says disc-golf remains supported but not prioritized now; staff to update capital list

Mulroy said some town representatives have asked why the commission is not further along on disc golf; she reiterated that while the commission supports the project, it has not been scheduled into a specific fiscal year and must compete with other capital priorities. Commissioners asked to meet before the capital deadline to set a priority ranking and to prepare a top-five list of capital items to guide staff’s submission.
The commission scheduled a meeting for Sept. 29 to finalize capital priorities and asked each commissioner to prepare a ranked list for that meeting. Staff will update the capital submission to reflect the commission’s priorities after the Sept. 29 meeting.
