District committee reports progress on restorative interventions, aims to reduce repeat referrals

Dr. Owens, who facilitates the committee, said the group met Sept. 9 and that about 20 of the 23 members attended the 7 a.m. session. "This is the third year that I've had the opportunity to facilitate this committee," Owens said, noting the committee previously revised the district code of conduct and undertook a deep dive into attendance.
