Calhoun ISD accepts personnel recommendations after closed session; superintendent plan not acted on

After meeting in closed session under Texas Government Code 551.074, the Calhoun County ISD Board of Trustees reconvened Sept. 15 and accepted the administration’s personnel recommendations, including a professional recommendation to hire Sue Bracher as a special-teacher at Jackson Roosevelt Elementary School and the resignation of Christian Gould, a teacher at HJM Elementary School.
The board entered closed session at 6:56 p.m. to consider personnel matters and reconvened at 7:55 p.m. A motion by Dana Dworaczyk, seconded by Vinson Phillips, to accept the administration’s recommendations carried 6-0.
The minutes note a Superintendent’s Summative Action Plan was discussed in closed session but that no action was taken on that plan during open session.
