Veolia reports strong operational performance; NPDES permit renewal nearing submission

Veolia staff also said they have been working with WPCA staff on the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit renewal and that submission is approaching. The monthly regulatory reports (DMR, MOR and NAR) for August were submitted to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and to EPA, Veolia said in the meeting. In the meeting’s capital and MRR (major repair and replacement) discussion, Veolia noted a request to contract Aaron Associates for oversight of SCADA integration at the 4‑Point pump station to ensure new pumps integrate with existing control systems; staff described that work as oversight for integration and not a standalone construction contract.
