Committee approves COBRA rates for Medicare plans and forwards resolution

The LaSalle County Insurance Committee voted to approve COBRA rates for all Medicare plans effective January 2026 and forwarded a corresponding resolution to the full board.

Committee members reviewed the rate exhibits and approved the resolution by roll call. Votes recorded were Craig Emmett — yes; Doug Stackley — yes; Tom Walsh — yes; Nancy York — yes; James Bailey — yes. The committee chair said the resolution and rate exhibits will be included in the full board packet that members will sign at the next full board meeting.
