Court approves payroll appointments for four part-time EMS educators

The hires will be effective on or after Sept. 15 at the part-time educator hourly rate of $23.95, consistent with other part-time educators.
The court approved the appointments by motion and voice vote. Staff said the individuals primarily work with the department’s EMT and advanced EMT program and that formal payroll placement will streamline payment and employment records.
Next steps: Human resources will place the four on payroll effective Sept. 15 and complete related onboarding and documentation.
