Thunderhead Bowl and Grill told the Board of License Commissioners it plans to remodel its bar area and kitchen, converting a previously enclosed bar into a more open layout.
A board member explained the plan as shown on submitted drawings: areas highlighted in yellow are to be removed and pink indicates the new bar area. A representative said work had not yet begun and that the project is intended to make the bar area more open. The board advised the business to obtain county building permits and health-department approvals, and the inspector noted that plan review and permits are required before work begins.
There was no objection from commissioners to the planned remodel; the board recorded the notice and reminded the licensee that any physical changes must follow permitting and liquor-board notification requirements.
