The oral‑history lead said the recordings went well and that the committee is waiting for studio dates before scheduling additional sessions. “We actually have completed 3 candidates, and we have a good list of people waiting to go. But the problem is I'm waiting for some dates that the studio is available because that is definitely the place to do this,” she said.
Committee members said the project is progressing faster than expected and noted that each candidate interview runs about an hour, so scheduling multiple interviews in a single day would require studio availability and volunteer coordination. The committee discussed using the professional studio to ensure consistent audio quality and said it will continue outreach to fill the recording schedule.
