Animal control proposes fee increases, moves proposal to finance; Kankakee City contract remains unsigned

Committee members approved moving the proposal to Finance on a motion by Mister Lowy with a second by Denise Turner.
Carrie also reported that the proposed contract with Kankakee City is still awaiting final action by the city's board; she said the mayor and police chief are working to move the city contract forward but that the city has been “dragging their feet.” The presenter said she would continue outreach but offered no new deadline for the city contract.
Committee members approved the animal control monthly report by voice vote.
