Trustees were told on Sept. 10 that the district had not yet received any update on its wastewater discharge license and that, if required, the district will need to reapply next year under the five‑year cycle.
A district staff member said, "Nope. Not a word," when asked about the discharge license status, and later added the district would likely have to reapply next year because of the five‑year schedule even though the earlier application did not succeed. The staff member offered to handle the reapplication process.
No vote or new licensing action occurred at the meeting; trustees asked staff to continue monitoring the licensing timeline and to proceed with reapplication when appropriate.
