A Park Board member said she believed she had been misinformed about whether a liaison could hold a board position and asked for the board’s election for this year to be redone. The member said she learned new information after speaking with Mayor Webb and sought a motion to revisit the election. "Because of that, I would like to make a motion for redoing our election for this year," the board member said. The board then formally moved and seconded to place the matter on the next meeting agenda. The motion passed on a vocal "Aye." Board members agreed the item would be handled at the next meeting and that a formal agenda placement would allow fuller discussion and any required procedural steps. No immediate changes to board membership were made at the Sept. 9 meeting; the motion only scheduled the election redo for future consideration.
