Two student trustees sworn in; high school representatives give back‑to‑school updates

Alma Camacho said she serves on her school’s executive board and described student efforts to honor a senior who died in August; the school held moments of silence and fundraising activities. She also reported that new campus security gates and the district’s “Bulldog Ready” policy have led to increased student engagement at her school.
