Board approves Terralinda CTE practicum MOUs with Vallecito Children’s Center and Boost School

The school board approved two memoranda of understanding on Sept. 9 that formalize practicum placements for Terralinda High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) students at nearby early‑childhood sites.

Under the agreements, Terralinda students enrolled in the CTE course may complete practicum hours once a week during a seventh‑period class, totaling about 15 to 40 hours in a school year depending on whether a student starts in the fall or spring. The Vallecito partnership is with the City of San Rafael’s Vallecito Children’s Center, located at Vallecito Elementary; the second MOU is with Boost School (Building Orthopedic Opportunities for Students Together).
