County Manager’s office staff told the Board on Sept. 9 that several microtransit ‘scout’ vehicles have arrived for Seminole County’s pilot microtransit program. The county will conduct internal test rides with a pilot group later this week to work out operational details; the public launch of the microtransit service is scheduled for Oct. 15.
Staff said the microtransit customer app is already available for download, and they will provide commissioners a direct download link. The county also launched a new Seminole Stream app to give residents on‑demand access to SGTV programming, board meetings and community updates.
County staff invited commissioners to participate in pilot rides and offered to provide commission members with app links and additional information about the pilot schedule.
