The mayor did not commit the board to support or endorse the project at the meeting; no vote or formal referral was taken.
The resident characterized the idea as an opportunity to make the village more dog-friendly and suggested the project could set a model for other neighborhoods. The board’s only recorded direction was the request that the proponent file a written proposal with the clerk.
