The Arrowhead District School Board unanimously approved its consent agenda, which the meeting materials list as including the Aug. 13, 2025 regular meeting minutes, bill payments, donations and a personnel report containing resignations, retirements and new hires.
Member Angeli reported two $5,000 donations: one from Greg and Natalie Revel (listed to CyberHawk—s robotics program) and one from ACE Precision Machining to the Tech and Engineering Partnership program. "We greatly appreciate our donors," Angeli said.
During the consent-agenda review, a board member asked about a line item totaling $3,700 for library books and whether the board could see what books are being purchased. Board members were told Donna Smith handles orders and can provide details on request. A separate question asked about replacement books for AP U.S. Government (APGov) courses; the board was told that when students do not return textbooks, the district charges students and replaces the books.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made, seconded and carried without opposition.
The board did not vote on any changes to the district—s textbook-replacement policy during the meeting; members who asked for records were advised to contact Donna Smith for purchase details.
Recorded action: motion to approve consent agenda passed; vote recorded as "Motion carries."
