The contract award listed in the meeting materials was $403,285, plus a 10 percent contingency of $40,328.50, for a total of $443,613.50.
The recommendation presented to the board identified two funding sources: savings from the Woodhaven High School parking-lot project, estimated at approximately $175,000, and the district sinking fund, which would provide the remaining roughly $270,000.
Motion by President Berry, supported by Sanders, approved the change order “as presented.” The board voted in favor and the motion carried.
