North Miami CRA to launch redesigned website Sept. 17; seeks committee replacements

The North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency announced on Sept. 25 that it will launch a redesigned CRA website on Sept. 17 and asked board members to participate in prelaunch testing and on‑camera content. The agency also said it needs to recruit replacements for committee vacancies after one member resigned.
“On September 17, we are launching a brand new website for the CRA,” the executive director said. Staff described the redesign as a refresh to make the site more user‑friendly and said communications staff will reach out to board members to record short interviews for site content.
The executive director told the board that a member of the CRA committee has resigned and that additional recruitment is needed; staff asked board members to identify potential replacements so the committee can meet quorum. The board clarified that CRA committee seats can be filled by a City of North Miami resident or a business owner anywhere in the city (the CRA boundary, staff said, is the city and not divided by district for committee eligibility).
Staff also asked board members to review desktop copies of project updates and other materials placed on members’ desks after the meeting. The website launch and committee recruiting are administrative items; no formal action was required or taken beyond the board’s acknowledgement and staff requests for assistance.
