Board approves short-term lease with Service Access Management Inc. for community services space

The Board of Commissioners approved a short-term lease agreement with Service Access Management Inc. for space in the Community Services Building. Julia, presenting the lease request, said the monthly rate is $1,272 through Dec. 31, 2025, and the short lease allows staff to colocate while the county finalizes apportionment of security and cleaning costs.

Commissioners noted Service Access Management has worked with many Pennsylvania counties and that the colocation supports the county’s mission for human services. The presenter said the intent is to be fair when assessing the tenant’s share of building security and cleaning costs given existing embedded services in the building. The board approved the lease as part of the Human Services items presented that day (motion and second; voice vote recorded as “aye,” motion carries).
