Macedonia officials say service center complex should break ground in 2025; council reviewing financing

City leaders told council on Sept. 11 they expect to move forward on the Service Center Complex and aim to break ground in 2025. Staff said the city received 19 proposals for construction; a short list of four contractors remains and the city will hold additional interviews and follow-up meetings before final selection. Council asked staff to provide more detailed schedule and cash-flow information as the selection process concludes and a construction contract is prepared.
