The Canyon ISD board unanimously approved the 2025–26 student code of conduct on Sept. 8, accepting staff recommendations and local decisions incorporated into the document.

Administrators said the revised code includes required legal provisions and district‑specific administrative language. Trustees moved, seconded and voted in favor of adopting the code as presented.

Why it matters: The student code of conduct defines behavioral expectations, disciplinary processes and administrative procedures for the coming school year.

Next steps: The code will be implemented across campuses for the 2025–26 school year.
