The vendor’s hourly rate is $55; the district reported spending $51,046.25 on the vendor’s services during the prior year.

Al Oberman, Director of Special Services, said the vendor provides trained staff for short interventions—often two weeks to a month—to stabilize students, keep them safe and keep classes functioning while the district develops longer‑term plans. Committee members were told the contract provides immediate access to trained staff without repeated hiring or interview processes; the district pays only for hours used.
