Millersville Borough Council on Sept. 9 approved a motion to close East Frederick Street on Oct. 4, 2025, for Millersville University’s homecoming block party. The closure covers the section of East Frederick Street between Creek Street and the angled-parking area, per the university’s request included in meeting materials.
Borough Manager Rebecca presented the university’s letter asking for the annual closure. Councilmember Linda seconded the motion; council voted in favor with no recorded opposition or abstentions. Staff will implement standard event-closure protocols for traffic control and public safety on the event date.
