Council told extra funds available for apparel; staff doubled next year’s allotment

She said Karen has a catalog and staff can assist with placing orders; she also said the department has sufficient funds for orders this year and that she “doubled it for next year” to provide more flexibility.
Council members noted the variety of styles and reminded colleagues to consider outdoor-event needs. There was no formal vote or motion; staff will process orders requested by individual council members.
