The Warren County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 290 on Sept. 9 to award a contract for elevator modernization at the county corrections facility to TKE Elevators of Pittsburgh for $236,899.10. County jail officials said bids were opened in a formal process and TKE was the recommended bidder after review by corrections supervisors. County commissioners, some of whom serve on the seven‑member prison oversight board, thanked jail staff for pursuing multiple bids and said the project has been underway for some time. Commissioners took a roll‑call vote adopting the contract award; Commissioner Sonata, Commissioner Kennedy and Commissioner Vogler voted yes. County staff noted the contract proceeds after standard prequalification and bid review and did not raise objections at the meeting.
