Finance committee schedules three budget review meetings for late September/early October

The committee chair and staff said department budget meetings are concluding and the budget book will be compiled the following week, with staff aiming to be ready earlier than in prior years.
Alder Tierney asked when committee members would receive the budget book; staff said meetings with departments finish next week and compilation will begin the week after. Members noted that reviewing the budget typically requires at least two committee meetings and the three scheduled dates will provide time to cover the book.
No formal vote was required; staff was directed to place the dates and times on the city calendar.
