County health unit schedules public flu clinics; courthouse employee clinic Oct. 3 announced

Pam, a representative from the county health unit, told justices the county has received its flu vaccine and is scheduling community clinics. The health unit will hold a drive‑through community flu clinic on Friday, Sept. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and county employees can receive vaccines during a courthouse session on Friday, Oct. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m., the court record shows. Pam said the health unit is also scheduling vaccinations for schools and community businesses and will come to workplaces on request; she invited justices and staff to sign immunization release forms in advance to speed the courthouse clinic. Court members asked clarifying questions about whether the flu shot was combined with COVID vaccines; Pam said the flu vaccine is separate from the COVID vaccine and that forms are required for the courthouse clinic. The health unit will use the courthouse drive site to serve county employees and the community as scheduled.
