Parent urges board to consider marching band access and inclusion at athletic events

“We're not asking for special treatment for them. Just a little bit of acknowledgement for all the hard work that goes into being a Marching Tiger and the sense of school pride and camaraderie that this program fosters,” Baker said.
Baker spoke under the meeting’s public‑comment rules and used her allotted time to request that the board consider how changes to fields, seating and policies might affect students who perform at games.
