The Public Works Committee approved two Parks and Recreation requests related to Brentwood Days wristbands: five complimentary wristbands for Brentwood High School and permission for non-resident students at St. Mary Magdalene to purchase wristbands to attend the event with Brentwood-resident classmates. Eric said Brentwood High School requested five free wristbands to use as halftime contest prizes during homecoming, and St. Mary Magdalene asked whether their non-resident students could buy wristbands to attend with their classmates. "They are asking if their non residents who attend the school could purchase wristbands so that they could attend Brentwood Days with their classmates who are Brentwood residents," Eric said. Staff recommended approving both requests. Committee members approved the requests by acclamation with no recorded roll-call; committee members voiced support during the meeting.
