Insurance committee: biometric screening sign-up at 88% as members plan five‑year health plan review

The Lee County Insurance Committee reported that 88% of eligible county employees signed up for biometric screening this year, the highest participation rate the committee has recorded.
Nancy Dailer, speaking as the committee representative, said the participation rate rose from 83% last year to 88% this year. She also told the Finance Committee the insurance committee will resume a scheduled five‑year review of the county health plan next year and will convene meetings to examine plan design and options.
Dailer said committee meetings will focus on reviewing the current health plan and related features; no plan changes or cost proposals were presented at the meeting. Committee members said additional information will be provided as the review process proceeds.
