The Waukesha Water Utility Commission voted to approve Cedar Corporation’s survey work for the city’s 2026 resurfacing program, allocating $26,157 to the utility’s portion of the total $51,064 contract.

Staff said the 2026 resurfacing encompasses Pebble Valley Road, Harris, Hillside, Easy, Norton, Oak Lawn, West End and Pleasant View and that the utility plans about $3,000,000 in water-main work on those streets pending capital budget approval. The survey will support water-main replacement and related service replacements; staff noted many services on the affected streets date from the 1950s and older neighborhoods may require earlier-than-expected replacements.
