Lombard plan commission recommends approval of two‑lot subdivision at East Maple Street

The Lombard Plan Commission voted unanimously Oct. 20 to recommend that the Village Board approve PC 25‑13, a two‑lot subdivision that would attach a 20‑foot‑wide, undeveloped parcel to two adjoining duplex lots at properties identified in the hearing as 1005 East Maple Street and a Westmore Myers Road address.

The petitioners, owners of the two duplexes, told the commission they bought the narrow undeveloped parcel to clear a long‑standing tax sale title issue and now want to subdivide so each duplex lot gains roughly 20 feet on the east side.
