The council approved ordinance 2025-20, a multi-parcel rezoning package that changed zoning classifications on several properties across the city (rezoning parcels on Jefferson Avenue, Fleming Avenue, Roselle Street and others) and updated the official zoning atlas.
Ordinance 2025-21 authorizes and adopts a private aids-to-navigation permitting plan tied to the Riverwalk Park day dock project and authorizes the city manager to sign required environmental and navigation permit applications for that dock project.
Ordinance 2025-23 amends Land Development Code administrative procedures and subdivision/plat review processes to conform with recent state statutory changes and to designate administrative authority and timelines for plat approvals.
Ordinance 2025-24 updates the city's digital sign rules by amending Chapter 15 to streamline message-display timing and related technical standards.
Ordinance 2025-25 amends Chapter 16 of the Land Development Code on special setbacks for elevated wood structures (as described in the staff text) and provides appeal, severability and effective-date language.
Each ordinance passed by voice roll call with a recorded 5-0 vote in favor. Several items had no public comment during the hearings. The council also approved the consent agenda (items 6–8) by a 5-0 vote earlier in the meeting.
