FPRA approves property purchase, museum art contract and multiple grant awards; several façade applications sent back for revision

The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency on Oct. 21 approved a series of resolutions and contracts including the purchase of a downtown property, a $25,000 artist services agreement for the Highwaymen Museum and multiple façade and sign grants, while denying several other grant applications and asking applicants to revise and resubmit.

Agency action included a mix of land acquisition, cultural program funding, public realm improvements and maintenance contracts that agency members said align with the FPRA redevelopment plan.
