Planning board opens public hearings and adjourns after a full docket; procedural votes recorded

The Manchester Planning & Zoning Board began its May 1 public-hearing session by adopting a motion to open multiple agenda items for public hearing. Board member Bob Gagne made the motion to open the listed items and Alderman Dan Goonan seconded; the board voted in favor and the hearings were opened.
During the evening the board noted that several agenda items would be continued to future dates: items concerning 323 Franklin Street (CU2025-009) and 1895 South Willow Street (PDSP2025-002) were continued to a date certain (May 15 for the Franklin Street application and June 5 for the Willow Street application) so staff could prepare additional reports. The board closed multiple hearings by the evening and scheduled decision votes on many items at the next meeting.
At the conclusion of the meeting a motion to adjourn was moved by Bob Gagne and seconded by Andy Boyle; the board voted in favor and the meeting adjourned. The board reiterated staff follow-ups, asked applicants to coordinate with DPW and building safety where noted, and scheduled votes for the items with outstanding staff reports at the May 15 meeting.
