Alba council approves consent agenda, grant applications, committee appointment and interim manager stipend

The Alba City Council on an omnibus vote approved routine minutes and payroll and claims on the meeting agenda, authorized two grant applications, confirmed a mayoral committee appointment and approved a stipend for the interim city business manager.

The consent agenda — which included approval of multiple meeting minutes, August and September claims and payroll, and a Banner Fire Equipment invoice (11P20362) — passed on a motion by council member Brent Bowman and a second from council member Hoffman. The roll call recorded affirmative votes from the council members present.

The council voted to authorize submission of a $10,000 application under the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (local law enforcement program) to purchase an in‑vehicle camera and related hardware and services for the police department.
