The Committee on Joint School Buildings voted to accept the monthly status and financial report for August 2023 submitted by Leftfield at the Sept. 9 meeting.
Committee member Turner moved to accept the report and Soule seconded. Chairman O'Connell called for the voice vote: "All those in favor, say aye." Committee members responded "Aye," and the chair said the ayes have it. The motion directed that the report be submitted to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and the School Committee for informational purposes.
The acceptance was procedural; discussion at the meeting had already produced direction for more detailed monthly procurement reporting and for committee members to receive leveling sheets and a list of awarded subcontracts going forward.
