State representative presents citation recognizing Jim Griesbach’s 35 years in county highway service

Representative Brent Jacobson presented a citation to Jim Griesbach at the Marathon County Board of Supervisors meeting on Oct. 21, recognizing Griesbach’s more than 35 years in public service in the transportation sector.

The citation, read by Representative Brent Jacobson, said in part, “Whereas James Griesbach has dedicated more than 35 years to public service in the transportation sector, culminating in his role as Marathon County Highway Commissioner,” and commended his work on highway worker safety, winter maintenance technology and efforts to relocate county highway facilities. Jacobson identified the citation as coming from members of the Wisconsin State Legislature on behalf of the state delegation named in the text.
