Edwards told the board the project team expects to close out the job and may return to the board with a positive contract-cost adjustment (a credit) when work is complete.
After questions from commissioners and positive remarks about the contractor’s daily progress, Commissioner (name not specified) moved to approve the change order allowing the chair to sign; the motion passed by voice vote. The change order was described on the record as a time extension only without additional county cost.
